The Publishing Liaison Office (PLO) at the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC) provides services to the four universities in the Western Cape in respect of copyright clearance and related matters for study materials used by students and staff.

The Manager of the PLO oversees the work of the Office, is the line manager for the PLO Project Assistant, and reports to CHEC’s CEO. Due to the retirement of the current Manager, CHEC seeks to appoint a Manager on a temporary contract for a period of one year on a three day a week basis, working from its offices in Bellville.
